Chili Paneer is a delicious Indian-Chinese dish served as a starter or snack. Come, today with the help of this easy recipe, we know how to make Chilli Paneer at home.
Cut the paneer into 1-inch square pieces. Take all purpose flour, 2 tbsp cornflour, black pepper powder, salt and 6 tbsp water in a bowl and mix it well to make a smooth and thick paste.
Add the paneer to the prepared paste and let it marinate for 10-15 minutes. To fry the paneer in a pan, heat the oil and fry the paneer.
Take them out on a plate on a paper napkin so that the excess oil gets absorbed. In a small bowl take 1 tbsp cornflour and add 3 tbsp water and mix it well.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Add finely chopped ginger and finely chopped garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add chopped onion and fry it till it turns light brown in colour.
Now add chopped capsicum and green chili and cook for 2 minutes. Keep stirring with a spoon in between. Add chili sauce, soy sauce, tomato sauce and salt. Mix well and cook for 1 minute.
Add the fried paneer pieces and the cornflour-water mixture. Switch off the gas and take out the veg chili paneer in a serving plate.
