Usually, all of us must have tasted Dal Makhani many times in a hotel or restaurant. Many people try to make Dal Makhani even at home in the desire of restaurant like taste.
To make Dal Makhani, first take urad dal, chana dal and rajma and clean them thoroughly and soak them in water for 5-6 hours.
Take a pressure cooker and put pulses and rajma in it. Then add turmeric, milk, red chili powder and salt and put the lid of the cooker.
Now take a wok and put oil in it and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, add cloves, cumin and asafetida and fry it.
Add ginger-garlic paste to it and fry all well. Then add onions and green chilies to this mixture and fry. When the onion becomes soft, add tomatoes to it.
Now add Kashmiri red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala and mango powder to the lentils and mix. After this, mix the dal well and let it boil for about 5 minutes.
