Early greying of hair is caused by a lot of factors. From watching what we eat to things such as heredity, there are a lot of reasons at play that contribute in early graying of hair.
Genes: Sometimes early graying of hair is inherited from our parents or ancestors.
Protein: Hair requires a lot of nourishment, which comes from protein. In case we have a low protein diet, it can cause early graying of hair.
Stress: Stress, worries and anxieties for a long period of time can cause grey hair as well.
Coffee, fried foods: Excessive intake of tea, coffee, alcohol, refined flour and sugar, red meat, and fried, spicy, and acidic foods contribute in blocking the nutrients from reaching the hair follicles.
Minerals: A lack in minerals such as copper, selenium, iron and calcium and vitamins like B12 and folic acid can also cause early graying of hair.
