Hong Kong captain Nizakat Khan won the toss and opted to bowl first against Pakistan in their final Group A match of the Asia Cup 2022.
Ehsan Khan made an early breakthrough for Hong Kong when he took a sharp catch off his own bowling to get rid of Pakistan captain Babar Azam on 9.
Mohammad Rizwan (right) and Fakhar Zaman then joined forces as they led a steady recovery and went on to stitch a century stand before being separated.
Both Fakhar and Rizwan scored half-century apiece. Fakhar was dismissed on 53 but Riwan remained unbeaten on 78.
Khushdil Shah.provided the late fireworks as he smoked five sixes in his 15-ball 35* to power Pakistan to 193/2 in 20 Overs.
