PM Modi Flags of Third Vande Bharat Express Train

Prime Minister on Friday flagged off the Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express, a semi-high speed train from the Gandhinagar Capital railway station.

PM Modi with Union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Friday.

The prime minister travelled in the train, from Ahmedabad to Kalupur railway station in Ahmedabad city.

The prime minister also interacted with railway officials, women entrepreneurs and others on board.

The train, which connects the capital cities of Maharashtra and Gujarat, is the third Vande Bharat Express in the country.

The first such train was started on New Delhi-Varanasi route, while the second one on New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra route, an official said.
