Prime Minister on Saturday released cheetahs brought from Namibia into a special enclosure at the Kuno National Park (KNP) in Madhya Pradesh.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister for Environment and Forest Bhupendra Yadav were also present with Modi.
The prime minister, who is celebrating his birthday, released two of these cheetahs into an enclosure at the KNP.
PM Modi released three of these felines around 11.30 am by operating a lever of the cages.
