According to the information, this bill will be introduced in the assembly today on Wednesday itself. The bill also provides for strict legal action against the culprits involved in paper leak or rigging. Let us know some special things about this bill.What are the main provisions of the billAccording to the information, to curb paper leak and rigging, the Nitish government of Bihar will introduce the Bihar Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Bill 2024 in the assembly today. It has been provided in this bill that those involved in paper leak or any activity related to it will be guilty under this law. The culprits will be sentenced to 10 years and fined Rs 1 crore. All crimes under this law will be cognizable and non-bailable.The central government has also made a lawEarlier, to curb the paper leak, recently the central government has also implemented the anti-paper leak law in the country. This law has been named Public Examination Act 2024 i.e. Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act 2024. There is a provision of punishment of three years to 10 years and fine of 10 lakh to one crore for those found guilty of paper leak.Law has also been implemented in UPYogi government had also recently approved the introduction of Uttar Pradesh Public Examination Ordinance 2024. According to the information, under this, if found guilty in paper leak, then punishment of 2 years to life imprisonment will be given and fine of up to one crore rupees will be imposed.
