Coronavirus - 1,211 coronavirus cases and 31 deaths reported in last 24 hours: Govt
New Delhi: It’s the highest one-day jump in Coronavirus count in India in the last 24 hours with 1,211 new cases and 31 deaths are reported today. The total number crossed 10000 mark with India registering 10,363 cases according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. On the hopeful side, 1,036 people have been cured/discharged/migrated and 339 died of COVID-19. Among 8988 active patients across the nation, Maharashtra leads with 2,334 cases while Delhi nudging with 1,510 and Tamil Nadu on heels with 1,173 cases. Over 2,30,000 Tests Done So Far A total of 2,31,902 samples have been tested for Covid-19 so far. Yesterday alone, 21,635 samples were tested. We have also received a sufficient number of RT-PCR testing kits: ICMR scientist Dr Gangakhedkar.
