Of them, 8 who were seriously injured were taken to Aizawl for treatment, while the rest have been admitted to the district hospital in Champhai.” He said an elderly man, a Myanmar national, who had come to India last year and was staying in Zokhawthar, was injured by the firing from Myanmar. He later died at Champhai Hospital on Monday. Lalbiakthanga said, “There has been no fighting from the Myanmar side since Monday and the situation is calm now. But we have alerted all villages close to the Indian border to be alert as there could be bombing or more firing any time."
