After the abrogation of Article 370, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a public meeting for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir today. During this, the PM will gift development projects worth more than 20 thousand crores to the Union Territory. Apart from this, investment proposals of 38 thousand crores will be taken on the ground.On National Panchayati Raj Day, the Prime Minister will deliver a message from the parish of Samba district to the Panchayat representatives across the country. In many ways, all eyes have been fixed on this visit of the important Prime Minister. Modi can give some big gift to the state during this time. The Prime Minister will launch the Amrit Sarovar Yojana from the parish itself. Under this scheme, 75 water bodies will be rejuvenated in each district of the country. All preparations have been done in view of PM's visit. Security has been beefed up in the entire state including Jammu and Samba.During his visit to Jammu and Kashmir, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of two hydroelectric projects, Delhi-Katra Expressway, and will perform Bhoomi Pujan of industrial projects worth more than Rs 38,000 crore. During this, many investors from home and abroad will also be present. Apart from this, Qazigund-Banihal tunnel and 108 Janaushadhi Kendras will also be inaugurated.After the public meeting in the Palli Panchayat, the PM will also attend the Gram Sabha. He will also dedicate a 500 kW solar plant in the parish. This will make the parish the first carbon neutral panchayat in the country. Land ownership cards will be distributed to the beneficiaries.
PM will reach at 11 amPrime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Samba's Palli Panchayat at 11 am on Sunday. After participating in public meetings and various programs, he would move to Mumbai from the parish itself. There he will attend the Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Award ceremony at 5 pm, where he will receive the first Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Award. This award is in the memory of Late Lata Mangeshkar, in which every year the best performers in the field of nation building will be honored.
322 panchayats will get prize moneyOn this occasion, the Prime Minister will directly transfer the prize money of Rs 44.70 crore to the account of 322 victorious panchayats. This amount will be from 5 lakh to 50 lakh rupees. This award will be given to Gram Panchayats for their best performance.

Projects worth 38 thousand crores will come on the ground in Jammu and KashmirPrime Minister Narendra Modi will launch industrial projects worth Rs 38,000 crore in Jammu and Kashmir through Bhoomi Pujan during the ground-breaking ceremony on Sunday at Palli Panchayat of District Samba. So far, investment proposals worth Rs 51698 crore have been claimed in the state. In this, the potential of 2.37 lakh potential employment is being seen. Most of the formalities have been simplified for the investors towards bringing new revolution in the industrial sector. Jammu and Kashmir is poised for a new investment destination. The Prime Minister's rally will also include representations from the UAE to attract investors.39 MoUs worth Rs 18,300 crore have been signed for the development of housing, hospitality, industry, warehousing, film and real estate in Jammu and Kashmir. The major sectors in the state are service sector, cement, minerals, plastics, food processing, health, IT, ITeS, electronics sector. Medicity is being brought in with 6000 bedded hospitals. For this, Medicity is being constructed in Miran Sahib, Jammu and Srinagar. The Prime Minister will formally allot industrial land to some identified allottees. So far, more than ten thousand kanals of industrial land have been allotted for 1745 units in the state.
108 Janaushadhi centers will be dedicated in the stateThe citizens of Jammu and Kashmir will also get a new gift in the health sector at the hands of the Prime Minister during the Palli Rally. PM will dedicate 108 Jan Aushadhi Kendras to the people of the state. These centers will be opened in government hospitals and private centers. Their aim is to reduce the cost of patients by making them available quality medicines at affordable rates. Popularity is increasing among the people regarding generic medicines. The notion is also being dispelled that not every cheap medicine is effective. Sanitary napkins are being made available to women at Jan Aushadhi Kendras at cheap rates. Under the new policy, employment is being given to individual entrepreneurs by involving them in Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Project Kendras.
