UP News: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has condemned the incident of bulldozing the martyr's memorial in Mainpuri. He termed it sad and insensitive and accused the BJP of ignoring the martyrdom of the martyrs. Akhilesh said that the BJP is also hurting the honor of the martyrs and the price of sacrifice has no value in their politics.

Akhilesh reacted sharply to the incident of the revenue team bulldozing the memorial of Kargil martyr Munish Yadav in Gadhiya Ghutara village of Mainpuri without any information. This memorial was built in the year 2000. He demanded from the BJP that the guilty officers should be immediately suspended and the memorial should be restored. The family of martyr Munish Yadav has complained to the DM that this action was taken without their knowledge and in their absence, while questions have also been raised on the role of the Lekhpal.

Akhilesh said that this is a form of negative politics. He said that if there is even a little shame left in the BJP, then all the senior officials from the division to the district level should be immediately suspended and the statue-memorial should be restored with respect. Otherwise, we will all do this together. This incident is highly condemnable. According to the information, the tehsil employees bulldozed the memorial of the martyr without informing his family. A memorial of Kargil's brave martyr Munish Yadav was built in the year 2000.

The whole matter is of Gadhiya Ghutara village of Bewar police station in Mainpuri. Kargil martyr Munish Yadav was awarded the Shaurya Chakra posthumously. The revenue team bulldozed his memorial. The family members of martyr Munish Yadav have complained about this to Mainpuri DM Avinash Krishna Singh. The family members of the martyr allege that a bulldozer was run on the memorial without informing them and in their absence. During this time, the Lekhpal and Revenue Inspector were also present at the memorial site. This work was done in their presence.

It is also alleged that last year, Lekhpal Harsh Kumar had measured and marked the land of Shaheed Smarak and now the same Lekhpal Harsh Kumar is calling the measurement done by him as wrong and in collusion with some people of the village, Lekhpal Harsh got the Shaheed Smarak demolished by running a bulldozer. When Additional District Magistrate Ramji Mishra came to know about this matter, he formed a team under the leadership of Tehsildar Kisni and asked to investigate the acts of the concerned Lekhpal and submit its report to the headquarters.
