Akhilesh Yadav may contest elections from Karhal assembly seat, there is gaiety among the workers

Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav can contest from Karhal assembly seat in Mainpuri district. However, the party has not officially confirmed it yet. But sources say that Akhilesh Yadav can claim the election from Karhal's seat.

Offer sent

The district organization of the Samajwadi Party has sent a proposal to the party president. A delegation of SP met the party's national president Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow on Thursday. The delegation has demanded that the national president should contest from Karhal seat itself according to the sentiments of the workers.

On Thursday, a delegation led by SP District President Devendra Singh Yadav told National President Akhilesh Yadav that Mainpuri is the work place of SP Patron Mulayam Singh Yadav. The SP patron also has an attachment to Mainpuri. For the first time, winning from Mainpuri itself, he has become the Defense Minister of the country.

SP district organization passed the resolution

He said that this time in the assembly elections, when the National President has announced to contest for the post of MLA, then contest from the Karhal assembly seat of Mainpuri itself. So that the sentiments of the party workers can be strengthened. This is also the demand of the workers of the district. The party has also passed a resolution in this regard.

SP District President Devendra Singh Yadav said that the National President, after listening seriously to the matter of the delegation, said that the feelings of the workers would be respected. But he will also take the opinion of the workers of Azamgarh. In a week, he will give his decision regarding contesting the elections. District General Secretary Ram Narayan Batham, MLA Karhal Sobran Singh Yadav, MLA Kishni Brajesh Katheria, MLC Arvind Pratap Singh Yadav were present in the delegation.
