Earlier these restrictions were till May 15. But later it was increased to May 31.

Minister of State for Central Tourism and Culture, Prahlad Singh Patel announced it on the social media platform. He wrote on Twitter, "Today the Ministry of Tourism has approved all monuments duly opened from June 16, 2021. Tourists can travel to monuments while following Corona rules. "

According to the order, decision to open all monuments and museums coming inside the Archiological Survey of India (ASI).
