America-Iran News: Iran's government has requested America's help to investigate the helicopter crash that killed President Ebrahim Raisi, the Foreign Minister and six others, but America has requested for 'logistical' reasons. Will not help. This information has been given by a senior American diplomat. The helicopter carrying Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdullahian and six others crashed in fog and they were found dead on Monday. Raisi was considered one of the leading candidates in the race to succeed 85-year-old Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. 

This is why help is not being given

When US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller was asked in a press conference on Monday about the request for help from the Iranian government, he clarified that America helps in such situations when requested by foreign governments. , but America is not able to help him in any way. Miller told reporters that Iran was not being helped largely due to "logistical" reasons.

America expressed condolences 

In response to a question, Matthew Miller said that the US has officially expressed condolences on the death of Raisi and also participated in a silent event in the UN Security Council regarding the death of the Iranian leader. The spokesperson said that the US is very clear that Raisi was involved in oppressing the Iranian people for four decades, but it (US) regrets the death of anyone in an accident like the helicopter crash. Miller said Raisi's record as a judge and president of Iran has not changed and "the fact that he had blood on his hands has not changed."
