Maharashtra - Aryan didn't purchase ticket for cruise party, he was brought there for ransom: Malik
New Delhi: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik has alleged that Aryan Khan did not purchase the ticket for the Cordelia Cruise ship party and claimed that NCB official Sameer Wankhede was part of a plot to kidnap Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son.Calling it “a matter of kidnapping and ransom”, Malik said that it was Pratik Gaba and Amir Furniturewala who brought him there and called Mohit Kamboj the mastermind and partner of Sameer Wankhede in demanding ransom. He further said that Kamboj met Narcotics Control Bureau’s Mumbai zonal head outside Oshiwara graveyard on October 7.‘Fashion TV head Kashiff Khan forced Aslam Shaikh to come to the party’“After this meeting, Wankhede panicked and complained to the police that they were being chased. They were lucky that the nearby CCTV was not working and we couldn’t get the feed,” he said. The NCP spokesperson also alleged that Fashion TV head Kashiff Khan forced MVA minister Aslam Shaikh to come to the party and was also planning to bring children of various ministers to the party.“If Aslam Shaikh had gone there it would have been Udta Maharashtra after Udta Punjab,” he said. This statement from Malik comes after a Mumbai-based businessman claimed that Aryan was framed in the NCBs alleged drug bust.Businessman Vijay Pagare told Marathi news channels that Aryan was implicated by some people to make money. It was a pre-planned raid, he said, further claiming that he knew the people involved in this episode, including an NCB witness whose selfie with Aryan had gone viral.Nawab Malik has repeatedly termed Cordelia cruise drugs bust case as fakeAryan Khan was arrested on October 3 following a raid led by Wankhede on a cruise ship from which drugs were allegedly seized and got bail from the Bombay High Court after spending three weeks in prison.Malik has repeatedly termed the cruise drugs bust case as “fake” and levelled a series of allegations against Wankhede. He has also alleged that the NCB Zonal Director has raised a private army that extorts money through frivolous drugs cases.Targeting the BJP, Malik raised uncomfortable questions on how the NCB, other central agencies like ED, ITD, CBI, NIA, etc, are being deployed by the saffron party to harass states ruled by opposition parties.
