Australia in firm grip at end of Day 2 of 4th Test - India 164/5, still 310 runs behind

IND vs AUS: The Australian team has been all out for 474 runs in the first innings of the fourth Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India. Friday is the second day of the match being played in Melbourne. Till stumps, India has scored 164 runs for 5 wickets in the first innings. Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja are unbeaten.

Young openers Sam Constas (60 runs), Usman Khawaja (57 runs) and Marnus Labuschagne (72 runs) scored half-centuries. Captain Pat Cummins contributed 49 runs. Jasprit Bumrah took 4 wickets for the Indian team. Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets. Akash Deep got 2 and Mohammad Siraj got one wicket.

Australia has taken two wickets in the interval of two overs. After running out Yashasvi, the Kangaroos also sent Virat Kohli to the pavilion. Boland got Kohli caught by wicketkeeper Carey. He could score 36 runs in 86 balls.
