Ayodhya Deepotsav: Deepotsav has started in Ayodhya, and this time this event has come with a special achievement. Ram Ki Paidi has been illuminated by lighting 25 lakh 12 thousand 585 diyas simultaneously on 55 ghats, which has registered a new name in the Guinness Book of World Records. This moment is historic for Ayodhya, as this is the first time that the local people have celebrated Diwali in the presence of Ramlala.

Unique Mahaarati organized

Before the start of Deepotsav, 1100 archaks performed Maha Aarti of Saryu river, in which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also participated. During this, a huge crowd of devotees gathered in Ayodhya, who were enjoying this grand event at Ram Ki Paidi. Devotional music was resonating in the streets of Ayodhya, and devotees were capturing this unique moment in their mobile cameras.

Achievements recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records

Two important records have been made in this Deepotsav. One is that 1,121 people performed aarti on the banks of Saryu simultaneously, and secondly a new world record was set by lighting 25 lakh 12 thousand 585 diyas. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, Union Tourism-Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and many other ministers were present on this occasion.

25 lakh diyas lit in half an hour

As soon as the sun set, colorful electric lights started shining on Ram Ki Paidi. The entire city of Ayodhya resonated with devotional music. 30,000 volunteers had already completed the task of laying 25 lakh lamps, and then all the lamps were lit in just half an hour in the evening.

Reaction of Sant Samaj

In this eighth year of Deepotsav, a 30-member team counted the lamps to get its name registered in the Guinness Book of World Records. Sant Samaj has praised this event and said that the central and state government have worked to revive the religious and cultural heritage of Ayodhya. This has created an atmosphere of happiness in the Sant Samaj.

Creation of new records every year

The Deepotsav program was started in Ayodhya in 2017 after the formation of the Yogi Adityanath government, and since then it has been breaking its own records every year. Last year a world record was created by lighting 22 lakh 23 thousand lamps. This time the students of Avadh University and other colleges had worked hard in preparing for this event, the result of which was also spectacular.
