BJP busy in deciding candidates in Jharkhand, Nadda-Shah held 5 hour meeting

Jharkhand Elections 2024: Preparations have intensified for the Jharkhand assembly elections, and the polling dates can be announced by the Election Commission soon. In this sequence, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held an important meeting to discuss the names of its candidates in Jharkhand. Participation of senior leaders in the meeting

Apart from Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda, other prominent leaders of the core group of Jharkhand also attended the meeting. In this meeting, the selection of candidates and election strategies for the upcoming elections were discussed in detail. After this, a meeting was also held at the residence of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma till late night, in which the discussion of Jharkhand Core Group continued till 2 o'clock in the night in the presence of election in-charge Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Intense brainstorming on the names of candidates

According to reports, a panel of 3 names each was prepared for various assembly constituencies of Jharkhand in the meeting, which was considered by the central leadership. The names of potential candidates for most of the assembly seats have been agreed upon. Now a final decision on these names will be taken in the BJP Central Election Committee meeting, which is likely to be held by the end of this week. After this, the final list of candidates will be released.

First list may be announced soon

According to sources, BJP may release its first list for Jharkhand elections soon, in which the names of three candidates each have been decided for some important seats. Elections in Jharkhand are likely to be held in November or December, and all the parties are preparing rapidly for it.

Meanwhile, the results of Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana assembly elections are coming out on Tuesday, after which the focus has now shifted to Jharkhand and Maharashtra elections. The results of these elections can have a profound impact on the upcoming strategic steps of BJP.
