By News Helpline . Mumbai | After the first introductory teaser of his OTT debut, Actor Bobby Deol is out with a new teaser and this one is more like disclaimer. The actor is making his debut on OTT platform with web series Aashram, which tackles the issue of God-man In India.
Bobby Deol just took to his social media and dropped a new teaser. He captioned it, “DISCLAIMER - Kripya Dhyaan De! #Aashram directed by #PrakashJha only on @mxplayer...@prakashjproductions @iamroysanyal @aaditipohankar @darshankumaar @adhyayansuman @goenkaanupriya @tridhac @vikramkochhar @tushar.pandey @kanuu7@sachinshroff1 @anurittakjha rajeevsiddhartha @parinitaaseth @tanmaay @preetithemountaingirl #JahangirKhan”
The teaser, perhaps a statement from the makers, addresses that they respect all Guru’s and their establishments, they respect all religion and people’s faith, but every now and then, someone tries to take advantage of common-honest-simpleton people and Aashram aims to address it. Though it is a fictional story, but the idea is not to hurt anyone’s sentiments.
The Prakash Jha-directed web series will premiere on August 28 on MX Player. It also features Chandan Roy Sanyal, Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumaar, Adhyayan Summan, Anupria Goenka and Tridha Choudhury in pivotal roles.
Apart from Aashram, Bobby Deol has also lined up another web-release, Class Of 83, which is Red Chillies Entertainment and directed by Atul Sabharwal for Netflix.
The film is based on the book "The Class of 83" by Hussain Zaidi and tells the story of an upright policeman-turned police instructor Vijay Singh (Bobby Deol) whose students grapple with the complexities of honour, morals and devotion towards their nation.
