The collections of 'Brahmastra' got a big jump on Friday when tickets were received in theaters for just Rs 75 on the occasion of National Cinema Day. The film had earned more than 10 crores on that day. The next day saw a drop in collections despite the weekend. The reduction in ticket prices had benefited other films as well. After which a debate also broke out whether the distributors and multiplex associations should consider reducing the ticket prices. Amidst all these discussions, the makers of 'Brahmastra' made a big announcement and decided to reduce the ticket prices.
Makers' gift on NavratriOn Sunday, director Ayan Mukerji officially announced that the tickets for the film will cost Rs 100 on the occasion of Navratri starting September 26. This offer will be applicable till September 29 only. Ayan Mukerji wrote in the caption accompanying the video, 'Excited about this scheme, National Cinema Day taught us about the right ticket price so that more viewers can enjoy the film on the big screen. Something that we are passionate about.' Ayan further writes, 'We hope that our viewers will continue to enjoy Brahmastra this week as Navratri celebrations begin from tomorrow.'
Ticket prices for 'Vikram Vedha' will also come downHrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan's 'Vikram Vedha' is also going to release next week. The makers of the film are also ready to reduce the ticket price. The makers issued a statement saying, "The makers of Reliance Entertainment have strategized ticket pricing to make Vikram Vedha budget-friendly to the masses." It will be cheaper than the released blockbuster films.' However, it has not been told how much and how the price of tickets will be reduced.
