According to Sharma, when the REET paper was out in Rajasthan, the role of DP Jaroli, the chairman of the Board of Secondary Education, came to the fore, but Gehlot got busy saving him.

Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara is also on the radar in the paper leak case in Rajasthan. The Enforcement Directorate has raided several of his hideouts in this case. Dotasara was the Education Minister when the paper leak incidents took place in Rajasthan.

Recently in the Assembly, Education Minister Madan Dilawar had predicted Dotasara going to jail. Dotasara was furious at this. Dotasara had challenged Dilawar and said that if there is evidence, then arrest him.

38 Arrested so far in paper leak

So far 38 people have been arrested in the paper leak of teacher recruitment in Rajasthan. This arrest has been made in separate actions of Enforcement Directorate and SOG. The biggest arrest in the REET paper leak case is that of Jaipur's district coordinator Pradeep Parashar. Parashar is accused of leaking the sealed paper a few hours before the exam. This paper leak happened in the year 2021.

In the paper leak case, the government had sacked 3 employees including the chairman of the education board. According to the Bharatiya Janata Party, the paper of Sub Inspector Recruitment, CHO Recruitment, Librarian Recruitment and Senior Teacher Recruitment Examination was leaked in the Ashok Gehlot government of Congress.
