Whereas replying to the question of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Member of Parliament (MP) Dayanidhi Maran, minister of state for home Nityanand Rai aforesaid the Delhi Police have set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Crime Branch to research 3 cases registered at Vasant Kunj police headquarters in south Delhi concerning the January 2020 violence in JNU campus. “The investigation conducted inter-alia includes the examination of witnesses; assortment and analysis of footages; and examination of known suspects. As reported by city Police, no arrest has been created in these cases” Rai more aforesaid in Lok Sabha.
