Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme started in Punjab - Previous governments used to eat this money - CM Kejriwal

Punjab News: On the occasion of flagging off the train under the Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme in Punjab, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that we are running the government of Delhi and Punjab according to the ideals of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Pilgrimage scheme is being started in Punjab from today. The government will bear all the expenses in this. There will be travel by both train and bus. Kejriwal said that I was thinking that it has been 75 years since the country got independence. Till date no government has organized such a journey. We first started it in Delhi.

"This is the money the old government used to eat"

CM Arvind Kejriwal said that till now we have taken 80 thousand people on pilgrimage in Delhi. The money that we are spending on pilgrimage was the same money that the old government used to eat. We are serving the message of Guru Sahib and the poor. Today Mohalla clinics are being opened everywhere in Punjab. Today some work is going on in all the schools of Punjab. Providing free treatment to poor people, giving good education to poor children and going on pilgrimage are acts of virtue.

CM Mann said- Huzoor Saheb's first visit

On this occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that today is a very holy day. We are celebrating the Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Ji. The Punjab government decided to do a noble deed. That's why we started the Chief Minister's pilgrimage. The first journey is of Huzoor Saheb, under this a total of 13 trains will go. Today the first train is leaving, which will have 1040 passengers. There will also be doctors in this train. In this, 300 passengers are going from Amritsar, 220 passengers are going from Jalandhar and 520 passengers are going from Dhuri. Bhagwant Mann said that Dhuri is my birthplace as well as my workplace. This is my good fortune.

"Apart from train, we will also make you travel by bus."

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the pilgrimage started from Delhi, Kejriwal ji had started it. We will make you travel by bus as well as by train.
