By Election Result: Counting of votes for the by-elections held on July 10 on 13 assembly seats in Bihar, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh is going on today. Both NDA and INDIA alliances are trying to prove their dominance through the by-elections held on 13 assembly seats.

Counting of votes has started for 13 assembly seats in 7 states. Both NDA and I.N.D.I.A alliances have claimed their victory in the by-elections.

Results of by-elections held on 4 seats in Bengal will come today

Results of 4 assembly by-elections will be declared in West Bengal today. These four seats are Maniktala, Ranaghat South, Bagda and Raiganj. In 2021, except Maniktala, BJP won the remaining 3 seats. Will BJP be able to retain 3 seats in this by-election? Will Trinamool Congress win again? These questions will be answered after the election results. Counting of postal ballots is still going on.

Triangular contest on Amarwara seat

Counting of votes for Amarwara assembly by-election will begin at 8:30 am on Saturday at PG College. 17 tables have been set up here for voting at 332 polling stations. 4 tables will be set up for counting postal ballots. Postal ballots will be counted first. Counting will be done in a total of 20 rounds. There is a triangular contest between BJP's Kamlesh Shah, Congress' Dhiren Shah and Gondwana Republic Party's Devraven Bhalavi. In the 2023 assembly elections, Kamlesh Shah won from Amarwara on a Congress ticket. He joined the BJP before the Lok Sabha elections. Because of this, a by-election is being held here.

Battle between BJP-Congress and BSP in Uttarakhand

Rajendra Bhandari from BJP and Lakhpat Butola from Congress are trying their luck on Uttarakhand's Badrinath seat. On the other hand, BJP has fielded Kartar Singh Bhadana on Mangalore seat, while Qazi Nizamuddin is in the fray from Congress. BSP has also fielded its candidate on this seat. Ubedur Rahman is trying his luck from BSP.

Who will win in Rupauli, Bihar?

There is a fight between RJD and JDU on Rupauli assembly seat of Bihar. Before the assembly elections, JDU MLA Bima Bharti had joined RJD. She contested Lok Sabha elections on RJD ticket but lost. After this, RJD fielded her in the by-election. She is fighting with JDU's Kaladhar Mandal.

CM Sukhu's wife's credibility at stake in Himachal

By-elections were held on three assembly seats of Himachal Pradesh (Dehra, Hamirpur and Nalagarh). These three seats were vacant after three independent MLAs resigned. Kamlesh Thakur, wife of Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, was also in the electoral fray from Dehra seat.
