A horrific incident has happened in the Chambal river on the border of Madhya Pradesh adjoining the Pinahat area of Agra. A 12-year-old boy, who had gone to fetch water in the river, was attacked by a crocodile and dragged him by his jaws. The villagers, who reached the ghat with sticks and sticks, regretted the crocodile. After this he left the child, by then he was already dead. The death of the child caused a furore in the family.
Anil had gone to draw water from the riverDue to the storm on Sunday evening in Usaith village of Thana Mahua in Morena district, there was a drinking water crisis due to power failure. Anil, 12-year-old son of Chhotelal of the village, had gone to fetch water from the Chambal river along with another boy on Monday morning. When Anil was getting water from the river, the crocodile grabbed his leg. Seeing this, the other boy who came along started screaming.
Crocodile left after hitting bricksThe villagers who reached the spot tried to save Anil, but by then the crocodile grabbed his throat. On learning about the incident, the villagers of Pinahat and Usaith reached the ghat. After hitting bricks and stones by the villagers, the crocodile fled leaving the boy behind. The villagers brought Anil to a safe place, but by then he had died.
Crocodile roaming in the river for two hoursVillagers told that the crocodile kept roaming in the river holding the boy in his jaws for about two hours, due to which he died. Police station Mahua, who reached the information, sent the body for post-mortem. Villagers told that there have been incidents of crocodile attack in Chambal river in the past also. The villagers panic after this incident. At the same time, there is chaos in the family of the deceased child.
