According to the new guideline, there is no permission to open milk dairy, fruit vegetable market in Sunday curfew. Whereas milk dairy, fruit-vegetable shops and grocery stores were allowed to open even in the strict lockdown of the first and second wave of Corona. According to the existing provision, neither milk nor fruits and vegetables will be available on Sunday curfew. For media persons also, the guideline does not mention the exemption of movement for coverage. It is mentioned every time in curfew or lockdown. On the day of Sunday curfew, 10 categories have been created which will be exempted, but in these there is no mention of milk dairy, dairy booth, fruit vegetable market and fruit vegetable shops. Factories where there is continuous production, factories with night shift, IT, telecom services, medical shops, wedding ceremonies, offices with emergency services will be exempted. Apart from this, passengers going to railway station, bus stand and airport along with all vehicles carrying goods will be exempted. Those coming for vaccination and offices related to medical services will also be out of the purview of curfew.
Street vendors, Thadi vendors are also not exempted
There is no provision in the guideline regarding street vendors, thri hawkers and hawkers who sell goods. These have also not been kept in the purview of exemption. There have been many flaws in the guidelines of Corona in the past as well. Even during the second wave of Corona, many times contradictory provisions were made regarding the marriage ceremony to various restrictions and exemptions. The government may soon issue a new guideline to rectify the shortcomings of the existing guidelines.
Guidelines regarding Corona 4 times in 10 days
The government has issued 4 guidelines regarding Corona in 10 days. The guideline was first issued on 29 December. After this, by issuing guidelines on January 2 and January 5, some restrictions were imposed. Then on January 9, by issuing a guideline, restrictions were imposed like Sunday curfew, closure of markets at 8 pm, closure of schools till 12th in cities.
