J&K Election 2024 - Deal done between NC and Congress, know who will contest on how many seats

J&K Election 2024: The seat deal between Congress and National Conference (NC) for Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections has been completed. Under the agreement between the two parties, out of the 90 assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir, Congress will contest 32 seats, while NC will contest 51 seats. In this alliance, CPM and Panthers Party will get one seat each, and there will be a friendly fight on five seats.

National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah said that this alliance is part of the fight against conspiracies, and he described the role of India Alliance as important. Congress general secretary KC Venugopal attacked the BJP, saying that they have a plan to form the government in Jammu and Kashmir, and the BJP has betrayed the state. Jammu and Kashmir Congress president Hameed Karra described the meeting as cordial and accepted the conclusion of the agreement.
