Actor Deepika Padukone has come ahead to assist out Bala, 25, an acid assault survivor, who had worked with Deepika in ‘Chhapaak’. Deepika has donated ₹15 lakh for Bala, who's affected by a kidney ailment and is struggling for life while undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital, in Delhi, wherein she goes for dialysis.
Ashish Shukla, the director of ‘Chhanv Foundation’ thanked Deepika Padukone for her beneficent act. “Acid assault survivor Bala discovered new hope, as Deepika Padukone extended a helping hand to keep her existence. Bala, who's suffering from existence-threatening kidney disease, urgently wishes a kidney transplant to survive.
