The search operation was launched after the drone was sighted in the Arnia area along the India-Pakistan international border. Apart from security forces, other agencies are investigating in the entire area. According to police officials, all security arrangements have been tightened in the area. Even before this, there have been incidents of drone sightings in the area.On Thursday, Border Security Force personnel were seen firing on the drone between BOP Bikram and Jabowal located on the International Border. After that the drone disappeared. Earlier, the drone was found on January 7 in Pauni Chak area of Domana.The police started investigation by taking him into custody. After the drone was found, the police launched a search operation in the entire area to ascertain whether any weapon or intoxicant was dropped with its help. People living along the 198 km long border with Pakistan are helping the BSF by keeping a close watch on the drone activities from the Pakistan side.BSF has trained people by conducting more than 140 Drone Awareness Programs (DAPs) on various aspects of drone activities along the Indo-Pak border. Drone activities were explained in detail as an operation in border settlements in RS Pura, Akhnoor and Arnia sectors along the International Border.
