Ranchi. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren's troubles have increased. Election Commission has sent notice to Chief Minister Hemant Soren in the mine lease case. In this notice, the Election Commission has asked why action should not be taken against him in lieu of the issuance of mine lease in his favor. Further, the Election Commission has also said that prima facie it appears to be violative of Section-9A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951. Let us tell you that Section 9A deals with disqualification for government contracts. Chief Minister Hemant Soren has been given time till May 10 to present his case.According to the information, the Election Commission has also sent a copy of the notice issued to Chief Minister Hemant Soren to Raj Bhavan and BJP office. Let us tell you that a case has come to the notice of Chief Minister Hemant Soren taking 88 decimals of land on lease for stone quarrying in Anagada, Ranchi. Former Chief Minister Raghuvar Das, while disclosing this matter, had described the matter of taking the mine lease in his name as an abuse of office despite being the Chief Minister as well as the Mines Minister. Also said that it comes under the purview of Section 9A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951. Under this, the membership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren should be canceled.Here JMM has also retaliated in this case and claimed that the case of mine lease does not come under the purview of Section 9A. At the same time, it was also said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren should be given a chance to present his side to the Election Commission. Now the Election Commission has issued a notice giving Chief Minister Hemant Soren time till May 10 to present his case.
