Ex Agniveers will get 10% reservation in BSF, CISF, SSB and RPF jobs, Home Ministry announced

Ex Agniveer Reservation: The central government has reserved 10 percent posts in CAPF recruitments for former Agniveers. Now, after reserving 10 percent posts for former Agniveers in BSF, relaxation in age limit will also be given. This has been announced by the BSF Director General. BSF Director General Nitin Agarwal said that 10 percent posts in BSF recruitments have been reserved for former Agniveers. He said that BSF is ready to include former Agniveers. We will get ready soldiers and after training they will be deployed immediately. He also said that former Agniveers will also be given relaxation in age limit.

How much relaxation to which batch?

BSF Director General said that the first batch of former Agniveers will be given 5 years relaxation in age limit and the next batch will be given 3 years relaxation. He said that the decision to give concession to former Agniveers will strengthen our security forces.

Reservation in BSF

The Home Ministry wrote that the BSF has considered retired or former Agniveers to be favorable for inclusion in the force after gaining 4 years of experience. For this reason, the Director General said that they (former Agniveers) should be given the benefit of 10% reservation and relaxation in age limit. According to the Home Ministry, this decision taken under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and guidance of Home Minister Amit Shah is aimed at strengthening the BSF.

Reservation in recruitment to constable posts in CISF

The Home Ministry wrote in another tweet on X that under the decision taken by the Home Ministry, CISF is ready to appoint ex-Agniveers in the force. The Director General said that they (former Agniveers) will be given 10% reservation in appointment to the post of constable and relaxation in age limit and physical efficiency test.

Relaxation in RPF too

At the same time, in another tweet, the Home Ministry said that former Agniveers will also be given concession in RPF. The Home Ministry wrote that the RPF is fully prepared to include former Agniveers in the force with age relaxation and exemption from PET. The Director General said that this decision will prove to be very helpful in strengthening the security forces.

Reservation in SSB too

The SSB has decided to give relaxation in age and physical efficiency test for appointment of ex-Agniveers in the force by changing the recruitment rules. The Director General of SSB said that this decision will provide livelihood to lakhs of ex-Agniveers and trained manpower to the forces.
