According to Reuters news, now Tesla is going to spend 500 million dollars on strengthening its fast charging network. Company CEO Elon Musk gave this information on Friday. He announced this expenditure of 500 million dollars on the social media platform ‘X’. He says that the company is going to make thousands of new superchargers this year.

Elon Musk made it clear that his supercharger network will expand to new sites. For this, not much attention will be paid to operation cost right now.

The company is going to build this charging network

Just a few weeks after the layoffs, Elon Musk has planned to expand Tesla's supercharger network. However, he is going to take it forward very slowly. EV makers in the US are adopting Tesla's North American charging standard. Due to this, Tesla's charging network is now becoming the standard of the entire industry there.

Tesla is one of the largest electric car companies in the world. The company may soon enter a market like India. In this regard, it has reached very advanced level talks with the Government of India.
