Madhya Pradesh - Frightened scene in Bhopal, cremation grounds fall short of cremation grounds
Bhopal. For the last rites of those who died from Corona, there is less space now in the resting ghats of Bhopal. Everyday more bodies are reaching than the capacity of the resting ghat. This is the reason that now the Vishram Ghat Committee is preparing a new place, so that there is no problem of any kind in the cremation of dead bodies. There is no place to find the last rites for the people who died from corona in Bhadbhada and Subhash Vishram Ghat. Things are getting worse.

Chairman of Bhadbhada Vishram Ghat Committee, Arun Chaudhary said that now a new place has been prepared for the cremation of 10 to 12 dead bodies. The funeral procession of the first 18 to 20 corpses was arranged in the Vishram Ghat.

Temporary ghat being ready in 2 acres

A place was prepared for the funeral of 10 to 12 dead bodies at Bhadbhada Vishram Ghat, but now it is being temporarily turned into a resting ghat by running a bulldozer on the 2 acres lying vacant in the Vishram Ghat complex. Funeral arrangements for 30 dead bodies will be made here. In two or three days, the funeral of 50 dead bodies will be arranged in this resting place. Funeral arrangements have been made in the empty park at Subhash Vishram Ghat.

Chita's ashes are not getting cold

The ashes of one funeral are not too cold and the other body is reached. There is not even a chance to raise the ashes, at the same place the funeral of another body is done. According to Hindu custom, there is a tradition of shedding the ashes in the Ganges or some other river after the funeral. But perhaps the family is deprived of following this tradition due to the existing arrangements in the Vishram Ghat.

More than 60 dead bodies cremated in a day

More than 30 dead bodies are being cremated daily at the Bhadbhada Vishram Ghat. Apart from this, the same number of last rites are being performed at Subhash Vishram Ghat. More than 60 dead bodies are being cremated in both resting ghats. If the number of Chhola Vishram Ghat and the city cemetery is added, then this figure rises to about 100.

Appeal of the Vishram Ghat Committee

Bhadbhada Vishram Ghat Committee Secretary Pramod, Mamtesh Sharma has appealed to the public to attend the funeral procession of 20 people. He has also appealed to Gokashta to perform the last rites instead of wood. Committee officials have also appealed that the general public should also follow the coronavirus guidelines issued by the government.
