Rojgar Mela Sarkari Naukri: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with newly recruited candidates in government departments and organizations through video conferencing and inquired about their experiences. Suprabha Biswas from West Bengal, who got a job in PNB, said that she is able to provide financial support to her family as her father is a laborer and her mother is a housewife.The Prime Minister asked about the enthusiasm among people regarding digital transactions. Suprabha replied, "We ask people to install a banking app through which they can do online transactions and there is no need to come to the bank for everything."Another candidate Faizal Shaukat Shah, who hails from Jammu and Kashmir, said that he got a job in NIT Srinagar. Faizal said, "I have been admitted to NIT Srinagar. I am happy that I got my appointment letter in the last job fair and today I am talking to you."Another recruit said, "They also want to settle down. Hopefully, they will also be inspired by my success and contribute to the progress of the country. My friends are also inspired to get a government job like me." It is expected that the job fair will act as a catalyst for further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.The Prime Minister had launched a "Rojgar Mela" to recruit 10 lakh people and touted his government's efforts to create jobs in the last eight years amid constant criticism from the opposition on the issue of unemployment.In his address after giving appointment letters to over 75,000 people for various government jobs in the first phase, PM Modi acknowledged the challenges faced by the economy across the globe with many countries affected by record inflation and unemployment, and Said that India is making every possible effort to come out of the safe situation.The Prime Minister had started the concept of employment fair at the central level on Dhanteras last year.
