Paper Leak Law - Govt in action regarding NEET exam, took 3 big decisions overnight, EOU submitted report to the center
Paper Leak Law: The central government has taken the allegations of rigging in the NEET-UG exam very seriously. The government has taken three major decisions on Saturday in the case of rigging in the NEET exam. In its first decision, the government removed Subodh Kumar Singh from the post of Director General of the National Testing Agency (NTA). Pradeep Singh Kharola has been given the command of the National Testing Agency (NTA) in his place. In its second decision, the government has postponed the NEET exam to be held on Sunday. In the third major decision, the government has handed over the investigation of the NEET-UG rigging case to the CBI.

Investigation of NEET paper leak handed over to CBI

The CBI was asked to investigate the NEET exam paper leak case several days ago, as complaints about this whole matter were being received from many states. Therefore, the need for a central investigating agency for a fair investigation was felt from the beginning. After registering an FIR on the complaint of the Education Department in the UGC NET exam case, now the Ministry of Education has handed over the case of irregularities in the NEET (UG) exam to the CBI for investigation in writing.

Many accused arrested from Bihar and Gujarat

Very soon now the CBI will register an FIR in the NEET case as well and take the investigation forward, because in this exam case, Bihar and Gujarat Police have registered an FIR and arrested some accused, so the CBI will take over the case registered in Bihar and Gujarat and register a new case. After this, it will investigate the case afresh along with interrogating the arrested accused.

CBI will interrogate the arrested accused

CBI had also asked to gather inputs through its branches across the country regarding this matter. By registering a case of conspiracy and fraud against unknown people in the UGC NET case, today the CBI has interrogated a candidate in Kushinagar, UP. Along with this, many accused have been arrested from Bihar Deoghar in the NEET case. CBI will now register a case on the basis of the complaint of the Ministry of Education and interrogate the arrested accused.

Will CBI proceed with the investigation afresh?

CBI has both options in the NEET scam case. It can take over the Bihar and Gujarat cases or start the investigation by registering a fresh case. If a fresh case is registered, the custody of the accused arrested by Bihar and Gujarat police will be taken in their investigation. The investigation will be carried forward afresh.

EOU submitted report to the Center

The Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police, which is investigating the NEET paper leak, has submitted the complete report related to the NEET paper leak to the Union Education Ministry. Along with this, all the evidence found in the investigation so far and the statements of the arrested accused, along with all the videos and evidence, have also been submitted by the EOU to the Ministry of Education. After Bihar, the EOU has now intensified the paper leak investigation in Jharkhand as well. 6 accused of paper leak have been arrested from Deoghar. All the accused arrested in this action of EOU are residents of Nalanda. Also, important revelations have been made about the car of the accused Sikandar, in which Sikandar was roaming around Patna on the day of the examination with the family of the candidate.

Doctors called the cancellation of the examination again shameful

The doctors' organization has expressed displeasure over the cancellation of the NEET-PG examination to be held on Sunday. FAIMA Doctors Association said that this is absolutely shameful. NEET PG examination has been postponed again, this has been done just a day before the scheduled time. This is a pathetic harassment for those medical students who have studied for a long time, spent money and sacrificed time.
