Gurugram: Haryana government on Sunday extended COVID lockdown till July 26 with more relaxations. The decision to extend curbs came despite a decline in the Covid-19 positivity rate and the number of new cases, the Haryana government said in its order.The state government has allowed restaurants and bars to open from 10 am to 11 pm with 50% of the seating capacity from July 19.However, the night curfew will continue from 11 pm till 5 am on all days of the week. Earlier on July 4, the state government had lifted the curfew on weekends.Relaxations given by Haryana government-1. Restaurants and bars (including in hotels and in malls) are allowed to open from 10 am to 11 pm with 50% of the seating capacity following COVID appropriate behavioral norms.2. Home delivery from hotels, restaurants and fast food joints is permitted upto 11 pm.3. Clubhouses/restaurants/bars of golf courses are allowed to open with 50% seating capacity from 10 am to 11 pm. Members/visiors shall be allowed to play in a staggered manner to avoid overcrowding.4. Gyms are allowed to open from 6 am to 9 pm with 50% capacity after adopting requisite social distancing norms, regular sanitisation and Covid-19 appropriate behavioural norms.Earlier relaxationsOn July 11, the state government had extended the lockdown till July 19. Announcing certain ease in curbs, the government had approved gatherings of a maximum of 100 people for weddings and funerals. In open spaces, a maximum of 200 people were allowed.Spas were permitted to operate from 6 am to 8 pm with 50 per cent capacity. Religious places were allowed to reopen with 50 persons at one time. Corporate Offices have been permitted to open with full attendance subject to strict observance of social distancing.Most of the existing guidelines related to shops, offices and other activities have been kept unchanged from last week.Haryana on Saturday had reported seven more COVID-19-related fatalities, taking the death toll to 9,593, while 41 new cases pushed the infection count to 7,69,504.
