Horrific road accident in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, 20 killed, 15 injured

Bus Accident: A horrific road accident took place in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. The bus going from Kishtwar to Jammu fell into a ditch in Assar area. It is being told that in this accident, 20 people have died on the spot and more than 15 people have been injured. All the injured have been admitted to hospitals in Kishtwar and Doda. Helicopter service will soon be started for seriously injured people.

55 passengers were on board

According to sources, it is being told that there were 55 passengers in the bus which met with the accident and this bus was going from Jammu towards Kishtwar. However, the bus met with a terrible accident on the way. The injured passengers have been admitted to the government hospital in Doda district by the administration.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed grief over this horrific road accident caused by Dodi. He said that he is extremely saddened by this incident. My condolences to the families of the victims. I wish for the speedy recovery of the injured. The Lieutenant Governor directed to provide all help.

Death toll may increase

According to the information received so far, the death toll in this bus accident may increase further. Many people have been seriously injured in this accident. Treatment of the injured is continuing.
