IAS officer posted in Delhi K. Sarangi has lodged an FIR in Ghaziabad Nagar Kotwali alleging that youth Abdul Rehman has married his only daughter Dr. Harsh Bharti Sarangi under a big conspiracy. His motive behind this is to get the daughter converted under love jihad. Two institutions that got married are also involved in this conspiracy. The police have called for a reply from the officials of the institutions.
Of. Sarangi said in the FIR, the daughter had returned from Ukraine in 2016 after doing MBBS. Abdul Rehman, a resident of Mawana in Meerut, had been following him since 2017. He trapped the daughter by weaving a web of deception. Injured the daughter first, then showed sympathy and then started keeping it together by applying pressure. The Maulanas supported him in this. He tried to burn the daughter's face with boiling oil so that he would have no option but to agree to marry her. She also got it registered by solemnizing the marriage in the temple in November 2018 to avoid legal action. Abdul Rehman and Harsh Bharti are living in Noida since their marriage. Abdul Rehman, office bearer of Vedic Hindu Sabha, Ghaziabad, office bearers of Arya Samaj Mandir Trust, Delhi have been named in the FIR.
