ICC Awards: ICC has nominated three players from the world for a special award between IPL 2024. Let us tell you that ICC has been giving a special award to players every month for the last several years. Under this, every month the ICC Player of the Month award is given to the player who performs brilliantly. The International Cricket Council on April 4 announced the players nominated for the ICC Men's Player of the Month Award for March 2024. Not a single player from India is included in these three players. Actually, the players of Team India are currently participating in the IPL and India played only one match in March, that is why the name of not a single Indian player is included in this list.Players selected for ICC Player of the MonthA Sri Lankan all-rounder along with two fast bowlers from Ireland and New Zealand are also included in the ICC Men's Player of the Month shortlist for March 2024. The first name in this list is that of Mark Adair of Ireland. Mark Adair has been an integral part of the Ireland setup across all formats since he made his international debut in 2019, playing a key role in his team's historic Test win over Afghanistan in March. In this match played against Ireland, he took a total of 8 wickets in both the innings, while scoring 15 runs with the bat. For this he was also chosen Player of the Match. He then took three wickets in the ODI series and then five wickets in the T20 series.The name of Sri Lankan Kamindu Mendis is also included in this list. Returning to the Sri Lankan team for the first time since 2022, Kamindu performed brilliantly in the month of March. He scored 68 runs in the T20 series against Bangladesh. His best performance came in the second T20I, in which he was the top scorer for his team with 37. After this, he performed even more amazingly in the first test against Bangladesh in Sylhet. In this match, when he came to bat, his team was in a very difficult situation and Kamindu along with Dhananjay de Silva made a brilliant partnership of 202 runs for the sixth wicket.
