The advanced and academic exam schedule for ICSE (Grade 10) and ISC (Grade 12) has been published by the Indian Schools Certificate Examinations Authority (CISCE). The exam will begin on August 16. Applicants can consult the announcement and the detailed schedule on the official CISCE website https://cisce.org/.
For ICSE (Grade 10) students, the exam must start on August 16 and end on September 2. For ISC candidates (Grade 12), the exam will end on September 7th. According to the announcement, the results will be announced around September 20.
Candidates who pass the exam will be required to return original copies of their old transcripts to their schools. The revised statement, which declares a candidate's status from Certificate Not Awarded (PCNA) to Certified Certified Not Awarded (PCA), will only be released after receipt of the previous declaration. Unsuccessful candidates must also return their transcripts to their schools, in order for the Board to send them a certificate reflecting their updated results.
The marks obtained by the candidates in these exams will be considered as their final score. Candidates who fail to attend their test will be considered absent, the results will not change. Students must follow strict safety procedures due to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic. All candidates are required to wear a mask and bring a hand sanitiser when entering the exam centre.
Results for grades ICSE 10 and ISC 12 were reported on 24 July, with an overall pass rate of 99.76% for ISC results and 99.98% for ICSE results. Students are graded based on their previous results, with final tests cancelled due to the second wave of the COVID19 pandemic.
