The tribal community is looking at the vaccination drive in a very different way. The tribal community has been left far behind the mainstream of the country, there are many misconceptions and fears about the epidemic.

A villager said, "Vaccination was done but no one comes here, nobody comes. Called the nurse, no one came, had to go here and there for treatment.

Bhimaram says, "Once 20 people had got the vaccine and they got sick for two-three days. Then his health became very bad. Called to see government employees, no one came even after calling.

Eighty-year-old Bheraram told Aaj Tak, "He told me if the vaccine was not administered, there would be no food grains to eat. No pension will be received. You will not get anything from the shops. So get the vaccine. What happened after that? I fell ill, had to get a bottle of glucose.

A social activist of Prabhuram said on the rumors spread among the tribes, "No such camp was organized in the tribal area, a little awareness should be made through publicity, this is not happening in the tribal area. On the contrary, people are being intimidated that pension will stop, your ration will be stopped.
