PM Modi to visit Wayanad on August 10

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the landslide-hit areas of Wayanad on August 10. He expressed hope that the Prime Minister will take a positive stance regarding providing central assistance for the rehabilitation of the disaster victims.

PM Modi to meet accident survivors

Prime Minister Modi will visit landslide-hit Wayanad on Saturday to review the relief and rehabilitation operations and interact with the survivors of the accident. PM Modi will reach Kannur at 11 am and then conduct an aerial survey of the landslide-hit area in Wayanad. He will visit relief camps and hospitals, where he will meet the victims and survivors of the landslide. The PM will then chair a review meeting in which he will be briefed in detail about the incident and the ongoing relief efforts.
