Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi was questioned for over 11 hours by Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials for the second consecutive day in a case of alleged money laundering related to the National Herald newspaper. Rahul Gandhi appeared before the ED at around 11:30 am on Tuesday. They came out after about four hours of interrogation in the first round. For the second round of questioning, Rahul once again reached the ED office at around 4.30 pm. He came out of the ED office late at 11:43 pm. The ED has again called him for questioning on Wednesday.
Once again Congress leaders lodged their protest calling Rahul's interrogation a political conspiracy. Congress General Secretary and sister Priyanka Gandhi went to drop Rahul Gandhi till the ED office just like Monday. While all the senior Congress leaders were taken into custody while protesting. On Monday, Rahul Gandhi answered ED's questions for about 10 hours. According to sources, Rahul Gandhi answered many questions of the ED.
