'India is showing the world the real power of democracy, demography and data' - PM Modi

Rising Rajasthan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the 'Rising Rajasthan' Global Investment Summit-2024 being held in Jaipur. The conference is being held from 9 to 11 December, in which leading industrialists, investors and global representatives from various countries are participating. Prime Minister Modi attended the conference as the chief guest and addressed the delegates attending the conference. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma delivered the welcome address on this occasion.

A total of 32 countries are participating in this summit, in which 17 countries have been invited as 'partner countries'. These countries include Denmark, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, Malaysia, Spain, Cuba, Venezuela, Morocco, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Nepal, Oman, Poland and Thailand.

India's power - democracy, demography and data

Prime Minister Modi said in his address, "This is a century driven by technology and data. India is showing the world the real power of democracy, demography and data." Talking about India's digital infrastructure, he said that UPI, DBT scheme and other digital platforms have benefited various sections of the society in India.

Prime Minister Modi also said that India has made remarkable progress towards development through the mantra of "Reform, Perform and Transform". He said that today every investor is excited about India, and this is the real identity of India's development.

New direction of investment and possibilities

Investment proposals (MoUs) worth Rs 30 lakh crore have already been signed in this summit. The aim of this summit is to promote investment in Rajasthan and establish the state as a global business hub. During the conference, national sessions and round tables for eight countries will be organized to increase cooperation between the countries and Rajasthan.

Special sessions in the three-day conference

Various thematic sessions will be organized during the summit. Important issues like women entrepreneurship, manufacturing, water management, sustainable energy, healthcare, sustainable mining, startups, education, sustainable finance, agri-business, tourism, infrastructure and supply chain will be discussed in these sessions. Key officials, experts and government representatives from the industry and business world will participate in these sessions and explore new ways of development in Rajasthan through innovation, sustainability and inclusiveness.

NRI Rajasthani and MSME Conclave

The second day of the summit (December 10) will be dedicated to the NRI Rajasthani Conclave, in which efforts will be made to increase mutual cooperation by bringing the NRI Rajasthani spread across the world on one platform. In this session, the commitment of the state government towards the NRI Rajasthani community and the efforts being made for it will also be discussed. On the third day of the conference (December 11), MSME Conclave will be organized, in which the challenges and future opportunities of this sector will be discussed.

Rajasthan Global Business Expo

A major attraction of this summit is also the 'Rajasthan Global Business Expo', which will provide an excellent opportunity for various businesses and industries.

The summit is being held at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC), and is being attended by over 5000 dignitaries, business leaders and investors. The summit will help establish Rajasthan as a major hub for global investments and create new opportunities for the economic development of the state.
