Taliban News: India has also participated in a meeting called by the Taliban government of Afghanistan. According to the information, the Foreign Ministry of Taliban had invited representatives from many countries. Apart from India, diplomats from Russia, China, Iran, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Indonesia also participated in this meeting held on Monday. Russia was represented by its special representative for Afghanistan, Zamir Kabulov.

India did not issue any official statement

There was no official statement from Indian officials on this meeting held in Kabul. Earlier, acting Afghan Ambassador Badruddin Haqqani was invited by the Indian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the Republic Day celebrations in Abu Dhabi. Let us tell you that the Indian government has not recognized the Taliban government of Afghanistan. But after this meeting, Taliban Foreign Ministry Deputy Spokesperson Hafiz Zia Ahmed said that India supports us.

'India cooperates in the development of Afghanistan'

"New Delhi supports all initiatives focused on the stability of Afghanistan," the Taliban Foreign Ministry's deputy spokesman said, quoting the Indian representative who attended the meeting. "India actively participates in international and regional initiatives regarding Afghanistan and supports every effort for the stability and development of Afghanistan," Ahmed quoted the Indian representative as saying in a post on X.

A statement from the Taliban's Foreign Ministry said Afghanistan values relations with countries in the region and stressed that these countries should hold regional dialogue to enhance and continue positive interactions with Afghanistan. Foreign Minister Amirkhan Mottaki said that I want to say clearly that Afghanistan has problems like any other country. The country has been the target of occupation, foreign intervention and civil war for nearly half a century.
