All the boards stand with India and agree to conduct the tournament in a hybrid model. Despite this, the PCB is adamant and is demanding to hold the entire tournament in Pakistan.

Pakistan at risk of losing hosting rights

The stubbornness of the PCB can put it in trouble. If Pakistan remains firm on its position, the ICC can take away its hosting rights. Hybrid model used earlier too

Due to political tension between India and Pakistan, the Indian team has not been touring Pakistan for the last several years. The two countries only play matches in ICC tournaments and the Asia Cup. Recently, the hybrid model was also used in the 2023 Asia Cup. At that time the Indian team played all its matches in Sri Lanka. The same formula can be repeated for the Champions Trophy 2025.
