Mahila Samman Yojana: Political activity is at its peak before the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi. Amidst the bitter cold, the political debate over the Mahila Samman Yojana has intensified. The Women and Child Development Department of the Delhi government has called this scheme fake through an advertisement. After this, the BJP has targeted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

CM Atishi's reaction

Chief Minister Atishi said that the notice published in the newspapers is completely wrong and false. He alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has got this advertisement printed by pressurizing some officials. Atishi said that the Mahila Samman Yojana has already been approved by the Delhi Cabinet, and its notification is available in the public domain. He also talked about administrative and police action against the concerned officials.

The Delhi government had earlier passed a scheme of Rs 1000 every month. After this, Arvind Kejriwal announced that after winning the election, it would be increased to Rs 2100. Atishi accused the BJP of expressing its panic by spreading false news.

Arvind Kejriwal's statement

AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal said that the Mahila Samman Yojana has been announced recently and it will be implemented after the elections. He said that so far more than 12 lakh women have registered for the scheme. He accused the BJP of trying to defame the scheme out of fear of its popularity.

BJP's counterattack

The BJP made sharp allegations against the Aam Aadmi Party regarding this scheme. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said that there are differences within the government. He accused Arvind Kejriwal of digital fraud and said that the AAP government itself is warning the public about this scheme. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said that a department of the Delhi government itself is calling it a fraud and advising the public to be cautious about it.

WCD department's notice

The Women and Child Development (WCD) department of the Delhi government has issued a clarification about the Mahila Samman Yojana. The department said that no such scheme has been officially notified. He advised the public not to fall prey to false promises of this scheme and to keep their personal information safe.

Conclusion

This ongoing controversy over the Mahila Samman Yojana has heated up Delhi politics. Both sides are blaming each other. It is important for the public to be cautious and not fall prey to any misleading information
