Congress chief Rahul Gandhi denounced the police lathi-charge on a farmers' protest in Haryana and stated that some other incident in which a farmer's blood is shed brings disgrace for India. He also tweeted an image of a protester with blood on his face and Kurta.
The farmers took out a protest rally on Saturday and had been moving closer to Karnal to protest towards a BJP assembly attended through Haryana leader minister Manohar Lal Khattar, nation BJP president Om Prakash Dhankar, etc. As the rally disrupted the site visitors' motion at the highway, police allegedly lathi-charged a group of farmers wherein 10 had been injured.
Protesters present near the Bastara toll plaza around 15 km from Karnal claimed to have witnessed 8-10 people preserve accidents withinside the police action.
