Rajasthan - Jaipur will get another big railway station, Khatipura will be the new destination, many trains will start from there
Jaipur. The capital Jaipur is soon going to get another big railway station. To reduce the pressure of Jaipur Junction, Khatipura Railway Station, located about 20 km from Jaipur Railway Station, is being developed. Its work is almost done. In the coming two months, this railway station will be fully functional. The diversion of trains halting at Jaipur will now be done at Khatipura railway station. It is also expected that many important trains running from Jaipur Junction will start from Khatipura Railway Station after some time.
According to Captain Shashi Kiran, CPRO, North Western Railway, Jaipur Junction is the largest and busiest railway station in the four divisions of the NWR zone. Around 125 trains pass through Jaipur Junction daily. More than one lakh passengers commute daily from here. For a long time, this need was felt that due to the trains standing at Jaipur Junction, trains of long routes have to stop more here. Although there are Gandhinagar and Durgapura railway stations near Jaipur Junction, their capacity is not enough to handle trains originating at Jaipur Junction. At present 6 trains stop at Khatipura.Khatipura railway station falls near Jagatpura. Its distance from Jaipur Junction is more than other railway stations. The process of passing trains from Khatipura railway station is very old. At present 6 trains have started stopping there. But now not only will more trains be stopped there, but in future many trains running from Jaipur Junction will start from there. There will be division of work of railway employeesAfter the construction of Khatipura railway station, Jaipur Junction will get breathing space. Due to this, some of the stalled modern development works will also be completed and due to the movement of trains one after the other, the running of railway employees will also be reduced. After the formation of Khatipura railway station, the work of railway employees working at Jaipur Junction will be divided. Out of this, about half of the employees will work from Khatipura.
