KC Tyagi News: KC Tyagi has resigned from the post of National Spokesperson of Janata Dal (United) due to personal reasons. Rajiv Ranjan Prasad has now been appointed in his place. Party General Secretary Afaque Ahmed Khan gave this information. The reason for Tyagi's resignation may be his controversial statements and differences arising within the party. Especially, his statements on foreign policy made the JDU leadership uncomfortable. New spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad will now carry forward the official message of the party.Also appointed as special advisorAccording to the statement, National President Nitish Kumar has appointed Rajiv Ranjan Prasad as the new national spokesperson of the party. JDU veteran leader Tyagi was appointed as National Spokesperson as well as Special Advisor in May 2023. In a statement issued regarding his appointment, it was said that to take advantage of Tyagi's organizational experience, Bihar Chief Minister and party chief Nitish Kumar has appointed him as the Special Advisor and Chief Spokesperson of the party."Differences due to statements"However, there may be many other reasons behind KC Tyagi's resignation, including differences within and outside the party due to his statements.
